This notice explains what Rooted & Rising collects through this website, why we collect it, and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
When you request a discovery call or a Reset, we collect the information you enter, including your name, email address, timing preferences, and answers to the qualification questions. We also record the page used, submission time, consent version, and a technical event identifier needed to process the request reliably.
If you continue to scheduling or payment, Cal.com and Stripe collect the information needed to provide those services under their own privacy notices.
How we use information
- Respond to your request and communicate about the service you selected.
- Schedule calls and process payments you choose to make.
- Maintain a record of inquiries in our customer relationship system.
- Protect the website, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, and troubleshoot delivery.
- Meet legal, accounting, security, and compliance obligations.
Service providers
We use service providers to operate this flow, including Amazon Web Services for hosting and secure processing, Clarify for customer relationship management, Cal.com for scheduling, Stripe for payment, and Google Workspace for business communication. These providers process information on our behalf or under the choices you make when using their services.
Advertising and analytics
We are running a paid advertising test for about a month. If you accept cookies on this site, we and our advertising partners collect usage information such as the pages you visit, the page you came from, and basic device and browser details. This is gathered through cookies and small tracking pixels, and we use it to see whether our ads are working and to improve them.
Today the only advertising tag on the site is Meta Pixel, on the Manifesto and Reset pages. The base library loads in consent-revoked mode so the site can initialize its measurement controls. Rooted & Rising does not send PageView or interaction events to Meta unless you accept cookies. If you accept, Meta may receive browser and device information, the page URL, and interaction events such as booking-button clicks, an accepted inquiry, or the start of checkout.
During the ad test we may add tools in two categories: ad platform pixels that measure ad results, and website analytics that show how pages are used. Any tool we add will load only after you accept cookies, and we will name it here.
Retention
Website inquiry records are generally retained for up to one year. We may retain a record longer when needed for an active relationship, a transaction, security, accounting, legal obligations, or a request you make.
Your choices
The first time you visit, a banner asks whether to accept or reject cookies used for ads and analytics. If you reject, no advertising or analytics cookies load, and the site still works normally. Your choice is saved in your browser, and the banner will not ask again unless you clear it.
You can change your mind at any time. The button below clears your saved choice so the banner asks again. Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies for any site.
You can also ask to access, correct, or delete information you submitted, subject to applicable law and records we must retain. Rooted & Rising does not sell personal information.
California privacy rights
If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Privacy Rights Act give you specific rights over your personal information, and we honor them:
- You can ask what personal information we have collected about you and receive a copy.
- You can ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- You can ask us to delete your personal information. We honor verified deletion requests within 30 days, apart from records the law requires us to keep.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising beyond the consent choices described above.
- We will never treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email rootednrising88@gmail.com from the address you used with us, or include enough detail for us to verify that the request is yours. We will confirm we received it and respond within 30 days.
Security and health information
We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to this limited inquiry flow. Please do not submit medical records, diagnoses, payment-card details, account passwords, or other highly sensitive information through the website forms. The website and its forms do not provide medical care or emergency services.
